Supporting Young People in OOHC
We provide a comprehensive range of services for young people in out-of-home care, working alongside case workers, carers, families, and communities to deliver consistent, trauma-informed support. We understand that many young people in care experience frequent placement changes throughout their childhood and adolescence. Just as they begin to build trust, form safe connections, and develop a sense of belonging, they are often required to move again. These transitions can make it difficult for their stories, strengths, and aspirations to be fully understood, and too often important parts of their journey are lost within the system. At Finding Zenith, we are committed to walking alongside young people throughout their care journey. We provide a consistent presence that helps ensure their voice is heard, their experiences are understood, and their identity is not defined by the challenges they have faced. Our goal is to be more than a service provider; we aim to be a community that remains connected, supportive, and committed to their growth long after placements change. By creating lasting relationships built on trust, respect, and belonging, we help young people uncover their strengths, build resilience, and reach their full potential. Every young person deserves to be seen, understood, and supported by people who stay alongside them on their journey toward their own zenith.

We work alongside NDIS participants, young people in Out-of-Home Care, and the broader community, delivering personalised, strengths-based support in a warm, nurturing environment. Our approach is grounded in being present and building trusted relationships that create safety, connection, and growth. Guided by Dr Bruce Perry's Six Core Strengths for Healthy Development and our six core values, we focus on helping young people develop resilience, regulate emotions, build positive relationships, and recognise their strengths. We understand that many young people in care experience ongoing placement changes, often losing important connections and having their stories misunderstood along the way. That's why we walk alongside them throughout their journey, providing consistent support, advocacy, and a community that remains present, ensuring they feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered to find their own zenith.
