Out-of-Home Care

OOHC Support Services

Trauma-informed, strengths-based support for young people in out-of-home care — delivered with consistency, care and genuine connection.

Walking Alongside Young People in Care

Finding Zenith works closely with case workers, carers, families and young people to provide wrap-around support that is consistent, compassionate and goal-focused. We understand the unique challenges faced by young people in out-of-home care and tailor every service to meet their individual needs.

Mentoring

Our one-on-one and group mentoring programs help young people build trust, confidence, resilience, and life skills through consistent, relationship-based support.

At Finding Zenith, we know support isn't always about fixing problems or finding the right answers. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply be present. We walk alongside young people through life's highs and lows, providing encouragement, connection, and a trusted relationship that stays.

We believe growth happens through both support and enjoyment. By creating opportunities for fun, adventure, community connection, and meaningful experiences, we help young people build confidence, discover their strengths, and find a true sense of belonging.

Day Respite

Structured, engaging day programs that give carers a break while young people enjoy safe, fun and meaningful activities in a supportive environment.

Supervised Contact

Safe, neutral and professionally supervised contact sessions between young people and their family members, managed with sensitivity and care.

Transport

Reliable, safe transport to appointments, school, activities and contact visits — ensuring young people can access the support they need.

Restoration Work

Restoration is about rebuilding what matters most. We've seen firsthand how hard young people work to build trust, make progress, and form meaningful connections, only for those gains to be disrupted by changes in placements or carers. Through structured, therapeutic support, we work alongside young people and their families to restore relationships while always prioritising safety and wellbeing. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to grow up surrounded by connection, belonging, and support. By drawing on our experience and dedication, we aim to help families heal, strengthen relationships, and create pathways for young people to safely break away from the OOHC system and be restored to their communities and loved ones.

School Holiday Program

Action-packed, structured holiday programs for young people in out-of-home care — giving carers a well-earned break while young people enjoy safe, fun and memorable experiences.
